Aidan Otto
ecological technician
Aidan is an upperclassman who just finished his junior year at the University of Idaho. He is majoring in wildlife sciences with an emphasis on management and minoring in ecology. Aidan’s interest in wildlife and natural resources began when he visited Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks as a kid.
In his free time, Aidan enjoys outdoor recreational activities such as hiking, fishing, and golfing. He is also an avid sports fan who closely follows organizations such as the MLB, NFL, NBA, and UFC. What he has been most passionate about, however, is his love for wildlife. Aidan spent a summer interning at a wildlife rehabilitation center in Longmont, Colorado, where he cared for sick and injured animals.
Although Aidan comes from the great state of Colorado, the Palouse’s natural beauty and extensive capacity for outdoor recreation drew him to Moscow to attend college. His passion for environmental conservation, along with the skillset he’s obtained throughout his professional career, will allow him to positively impact the already great region that is the Palouse.
