What to expect: The Skinner Preserve is located atop Paradise Ridge, just south of Moscow. Tours will meet in the parking area of the Trinity Reformed Church (101 East Palouse River Drive, across from Moscow Auto Service) and caravan to the site, located along Eid Road. Once on the property, we will embark on an uphill hike of a little under 1 mile, moderate-high intensity. The terrain is a mix of uneven grassy vegetation with rocky outcroppings, particularly toward the top of the property.

It is typically windy on the ridge, be sure to dress in layers and prepare for spring weather conditions. Bring your water bottle, a camera or phone for capturing the blooms and a walking stick if you would like. PLT will provide sunscreen, insect spray, and have a first aid kit and emergency supplies on hand.
