Celebrate Literacy Month all September long at Idler's Rest Nature Preserve!  We'll be setting up special book nooks along the trails with a selection of nature-themed books for all ages and reading abilities. 

Free bookmarks will be available at every station and be sure to head out the last week of the month to share your poems and thoughts on the Poet-Tree. 

September 1-7:                  Plant and wildlife guides

September 8-14:                Classic nature writings and nonfiction

September 15-21:               Nature fiction

September 22-30:             Poetry
