We’re looking for a few awesome folks to help reinstall fencing at Idler’s Rest!
Last summer, the cedar fence along the creek area was removed for the big forest health and safety project. The trees that were removed during the project were sent to our friends at North Idaho Cedar in Troy and turned into the very rails and posts we will be installing - a beautiful, full circle! Now we need your help to get the fence back in.
WHEN: Saturday, April 26 from 9am - 1pm
WHERE: Idler’s Rest Nature Preserve cedar grove
WHAT’S HAPPENING: Digging holes and installing split rail fencing along the creek in the cedar grove, and moving brush to block spur trails.
All tools and materials will be provided, as well as snacks and water. Please dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes, and grab your gloves if you’ve got some (we have those too, no worries). Open to everyone 12 and up.
