Uh oh, where is the trail? Is that the same tree? Was that a bear?!
We hope you’ve never been there, but losing your way when recreating in the great outdoors is a possibility for any adventurer. Join Gail Collins of the Latah County Search and Rescue canine unit to learn how you can avoid ever uttering the phrase, “Oh crap, I’m lost!” Gail is also a retired wildlife biologist and will be sharing information about when, where, and if you are likely to encounter wildlife and how to best handle wildlife encounters.
We’ll be crafting up paracord bracelets and making simple elderberry wood whistles, both great tools for your outdoor preparedness kit. This session will also include resources and information you can use today to prepare for anything nature has to throw at you. You don’t want to miss out!
Your $25 registration includes presentation, one delicious beverage from Rants & Raves Brewery, and all craft materials and supplies as well as finished product. More than that, you are supporting Palouse Land Trust and the conservation of the lands we love across our region.
