Give the kiddos a good dose of vitamin Nature with a fun morning making crafts, exporing, and best of all, PLAYING at Idler's Rest Nature Preserve! We've got a handful of activities to suit all interests, from scavenger hunts to nature paintbrushes to bird feeders and more.

Families with kiddos of all ages are welcome, with activities and crafts for teeny tinies right up to mid-elementary-aged kids. All materials and supplies will be provided, just bring your creativity!

Heads up mommas and poppas, there is currently no restroom facility at Idler’s Rest, so be sure to hit “go before you go” and plan for some bugs, some sun, and a fair amount of messy fun.
