Do you love Idler’s Rest?
Are you itching to get outside and put in a few hours of hard work?
Get excited for four opportunities to get sweaty for stewardship! For two weeks in May and two weeks in June, we will have open volunteer slots from 3:00 - 5:00pm.
What do you need? Come prepared with sturdy boots, gloves, water, and a great attitude. Tools, extra water and snacks provided! We will meet in the Idler’s Rest parking lot a little before 3:00pm and then embark to our project location within the Preserve. Much of our projects this spring will be trails related so if you have a favorite trail building tool, please feel welcomed to bring it!
Can’t make any of the Work Wednesdays this spring? Contact Ava Nora Cocking, Community Lands Steward to coordinate another time for your dedicated group of volunteers to do some good work at Idler’s Rest or another favorite preserve.
