Amy Trujillo, Executive Director
(208) 669-0722

About Amy
Amy Trujillo has served as Executive Director of the Palouse Land Trust since 2011.  Before joining the Palouse Land Trust, she was the Associate Director for a land trust in San Diego county focused on conserving important coastal wetlands and watersheds in a rapidly developing environment.  She has a B.S. in Ecology, Behavior and Evolution from UC San Diego, and also studied in a Wildlife Ecology and Conservation program looking specifically at conflicts between wildlife and farmers living near national parks.  Amy moved to Moscow in 2011, and loves getting out with her two kids to see this beautiful region.  Her favorite part of the job is getting to know the many families committed to local land conservation and building on the good work the Land Trust has been doing for over 20 years.

Nick Norton, Conservation Projects Manager
(208) 596-4496

About Nick
Nick Norton joined the Palouse Land Trust in the fall of 2015, and brings experience in environmental education, organic agriculture, and plant ecology.  He grew up exploring the Palouse region and ultimately returned to the area where he received an M.S. in Plant Biology from Washington State University in 2014.  Before joining the Land Trust, Nick was working at the University of Idaho as a Research Scientist working to develop better landscape scale approaches to invasive plant management.  Nick is excited about working with landowners and other partners to increase opportunities to preserve the special places that make the Palouse unique.  When not on the job, Nick can be found rafting whitewater across the Pacific Northwest, exploring new trails on foot or with skies, and tending to his garden.

(208) 596-4496

About Jaime
Jaime Jovanovich-Walker was born and raised in Pullman and is a 2007 honors graduate of Washington State University with a bachelor's degree in Environmental and Resource Economics and Management.  She and her husband, Ed, moved to Moscow in 2009, and are enthusiastic hikers who love exploring the local mountain trails and logging roads with their two dogs, Mitzy and Leonidas.  When not at work, Jaime keeps very busy gardening, canning and preserving, working on home improvement projects, taking care of the dogs, Dotty cat, Chimi chinchilla and three little fishies.  More than anything else, Jaime loves being in nature and is happiest when her hands and feet are in the rich, Palouse soil.
