RESCHEDULED: Yoga in the Cedars
Monday, May 29, 3:00pm at Idler's Rest Nature Preserve
Please join us for the reboot of this year's first Yoga in the Cedars session on Monday, May 29.  The wonderful and talented Meggie Cafferty of Kula: Yoga and Tea will lead this all levels class.  Suggested donation is $5-$15, with proceeds benefiting the Palouse Land Trust and our friends at Kula. The session will begin around 1:30 and run for approximately 75 minutes. Please dress in layers, bring a yoga mat or outdoor towel, and carpool with your friends! Water and tea will be provided, and please be sure to hit the restroom before you head out to the Preserve.  

Gormsen Butte Work Party with the LSWCD
Saturday, June 3, 11am-4pm
Help the Latah Soil and Water Conservation District with restoration of a beautiful Palouse Prairie remnant on Gormsen Butte (located south of Moscow, just south of Paradise Ridge) by hand-pulling patches of yellow starthistle and bachelor's button.  Please send any questions and RSVPs to Brenda Erhardt at berhardt@latahsoil.org.


Work Party at Idler's Rest
Saturday, June 10, 9am-noon at Idler's Rest Nature Preserve
Spend a day sprucing up habitat and trails at Idler's Rest!  Join the yearly work party to trim overhanging vegetation, clean up debris, repair erosion and winter damage along the trails, and ensure that the preserve is a safe and healthy place for local wildlife and visitors alike.  All tools and supplies will be provided, along with snacks and a light lunch.  Please dress for the weather, wear good work shoes and bring a pair of work gloves if you'd like.  Questions or to sign up, please email jaime@palouselandtrust.org or give us a call at the office at 208-596-4496.



Summer Solstice Hike

elcome the official beginning of summer with a fun guided hike on the trails at Idler's Rest.  We'll chat about the history of the preserve, wildlife and plant habitat, and the amazing community support that makes the preserve such a special and wonderful place to visit.
